Credit Card Payments
With Smartstreet, our clients have the ability to make a one time payment by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover & American Express at a fee of $14.95 per transaction. Debit Cards without the MasterCard or Visa logo are not accepted. No registration required.
Card industry rules mandate that we discontinue the recurring credit/debit card payment option. To comply, Smartstreet will NOT be able to accept recurring card payments as of September 13, 2013.
eCheck One-Time or Recurring Payments
Homeowners wishing to use their bank account for payment need to select the eCheck method of payment. Those using the service-charge-free eCheck option for either one-time or recurring payments will need to become a registered user and create a user name and password.
ACH (automatic bill pay)
The preferred method of payment by auditors is the ACH direct debit system. This method draws your monthly assessment directly from your checking account on or about the 5th day of each month and downloads it directly into your Association’s designated account. This results in improved internal controls, less opportunity for error and more timely processing of your payment. This “set it and forget it” method of payment will help to eliminate forgetting to pay your assessment which could result in late fees. Finally, there is nothing for you to do if your assessment changes as the change at the end of the budget year is done automatically.
